Get Ready for a Summer of Celebration in Castle Rock
This summer, the Town of Castle Rock is bursting with excitement as it hosts a series of special events to commemorate America 250 and Colorado 150. From historical celebrations to festive gatherings, there’s something for everyone in the heart of our beloved town.
Flag Day Festivities: Honor and Educate
Mark your calendars for Sunday, June 14, from 2 to 4 p.m., as we gather in Downtown Castle Rock to celebrate Flag Day. This event promises to be both educational and festive, featuring activities that delve into the history and meaning of the American Flag. It’s not just a celebration; it’s a chance to connect with your community and learn about the symbols that unite us as a nation.
Fourth of July Extravaganza: A Community Affair
On Saturday, July 4, join fellow residents at Festival Park from 5:30 to 10 p.m. for the Town's annual Fourth of July Celebration, enhanced this year by the themes of America 250 and Colorado 150. Expect live music, delicious offerings from local food trucks, and family-friendly activities, including the much-anticipated Pie Bake-Off competition. As dusk falls, gather with friends and family to enjoy a dazzling fireworks display that will light up the night sky—weather permitting, of course!
Colorado Day: A Celebration of State Pride
Saturday, August 1 is set to be a day packed with events featuring a double-header celebration at the Amphitheater at Philip S. Miller Park. The Colorado Day Festival kicks off with free festivities from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., showcasing local music, a cornhole tournament, and activities designed for the whole family. Later in the evening, join us for the Summer Concert Series featuring Fitz and The Tantrums. Grab your tickets early as this show promises to be both electrifying and memorable, perfectly blending our pride in America and Colorado!
An Invitation to Community Engagement
As we approach 2026, Colorado invites everyone to partake in this once-in-a-lifetime commemoration. These events serve to strengthen our communal bonds while celebrating our shared history and culture. Whether you’re a longtime resident or new to Castle Rock, there’s never been a better time to connect with your neighbors and celebrate your state!
